I forgot how much I loved the sound of wind and water, white noise crashing against my eardrums in a cacophony of softness

New loves like marmite on toast can’t compare to the old and true loves of my soul.

There will always be wind and sea and sun, I hope, until the latter burns out and we are lost forever.

Until then, however, I’ll enjoy the view from my little stowaway table in our little apartment by the sea.
